Function
The pneumatic unit for the system of attitude control of an aircraft is designed for feeding and regulating the operating medium into the system of attitude control and stabilization of a spacecraft. The system is controlled by gas-jet engines. The 2-position electro-pneumatic valves (DEPK) and pressure regulator electro-controlled (DEPD) are operated by electromagnets with fixing the movable system in the open or closed position and with signaling the valve position. The pneumatic unit has no detachable joints that are subjected to action of the external vacuum. All detachable joints and also pipelines, connecting the subassemblies, are made inside the receiver.
The data about use
The pneumatic unit was subjected to the full cycle of surface tests and has been operating successfully in spacecrafts of the "Venus", "Astron", "Vega" type and others. For years of operation, the pneumatic unit demonstrated high reliability.
