Function
The feeding unit is part of an airborne system for storage and feed of hydrogen and oxygen to the electro-chemical generators (ECHG) of the power supply system. The unit is designed for feeding the components out of storage tanks to the ECHG in the spacecrafts in which the power supply system works on hydrogen-oxygen elements.
DEPK are operated by electromagnets with fixing the movable system in the open and closed position and with signaling the valve position. The pressure regulators and safety valves are set to the specified parameters.
The data about use
The unit for the feeding was subjected to the full cycle of surface tests and has been operating successfully in spacecrafts of the "Buran" type. The main technical designs are covered by patents
